Copy of Story Behind Bimyou
|
Hello! I'm Karl Kozuki, founder of Bimyou Workshop. Bimyou is based on the idea of running a store dedicated to my friends and fans while sharing my love for Japanese anime and cars. It took a while for me to get Bimyou operating due to my lack of motivation. It was mainly two people who gave me that last push to start Bimyou, Emily and my close friend. Emily had kept me grounded when we both launched Bimyou together. My friends and supporters constantly suggested I pursue Bimyou but I never have done so. Ever since I was an adolescent, I had a passion for cars and anime. As a dream, I constantly designed itasha vehicles in video games. My passion for cars only kept growing since. |

When I got my first car, a Toyota Tacoma pickup truck, my dream finally came true. I created my first itasha. Since then, to now, I've always loved owning an itasha. I felt like I gave myself, and my piece of machinery an identity. Having designed my own itasha, I thought about designing for others and that's how the plan for Bimyou started. I wanted to use the talent I've tried to perfect by sharing it with others. Honestly, I never thought I would get this far. Who knew a dream like this would come true? When I think about people representing my designs with pride, it is extraordinary. I cannot help but smile knowing that I had created something amazing that I can share with others. |

I want everyone who supports Bimyou to enjoy our products and designs. I may not be doing something everyone approves of, but I can still produce greatness within my creations. |
Definition of Bimyou
The word bimyou 微妙 / びみょう is of Japanese origin meaning "subtle" or "fine." It is also known for its slang definition "meh," or "mediocre." Bimyou's brand and motto is the interpretation and judgment of our work. I believe it is important to stay humble by learning from others and acknowledge our limitations.
